My name is Stephanie Lamancusa, I currently hold licensure as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). My academic journey includes a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, followed by a Master's in Social Work from Rutgers University.
Over the course of my professional trajectory, I have cultivated a wealth of experience across diverse counseling domains. I commenced my career in co-occurring outpatient substance abuse and mental health counseling, subsequently transitioning to in-community crisis intervention and counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults.
My expertise spans crisis management, individual and group counseling, and guiding individuals through the processing of trauma as they navigate their path to wellness.
As a therapist, my approach revolves around creating a stigma-free, secure environment for individuals to process their current challenges. I place emphasis on highlighting strengths and accomplishments along their path of recovery and personal growth. I firmly believe in the power of fostering a supportive space where individuals can navigate their struggles and celebrate their triumphs.
